ocean city trip pt. 2
I’m hanging out by the hotel pool where wireless internet is abundant. I’ve spent all day at the beach and it was lovely, but once the sun started to hide behind the buildings, I decided to rinse off here. The weather has been absolutely perfect. I’ve been working on the pair of socks and soaking up the sun - I honestly don’t think it gets much more relaxing than sitting on the beach and knitting. I took a break to walk halfway into the (freezing) water and couldn’t help to think how magical it was. The waves crashing around me and the foam swirling for miles down the beach was just breathtaking. I didn’t bring my camera, but I did take a few pictures on my phone. I didn’t realize how good of a camera it had!
My trusty $5 umbrella kept the sun out of my face. James bought this and let me keep it on our last visit to OC earlier this summer.

Working on getting two socks started at once using the magic loop method.

Huge creepy skull that was on the beach today. I wonder what it was?

Kids playing in the tidal pools. Late in the day when they start to dry up, they are as warm as bath water!

p.s. from my twitter comment: that’s definitely not a human pelvis, so don’t be too alarmed!

Wow your cell phone does take good pictures.
Enjoy the rest of your trip.
