PA Renn Fest

Katie, Adam, and I went to the PA Rennfest this October. We made it a game to kinnear people and their foods with my cellphone. The full album is in my google pics but here are a few highlights!

Really cool pumpkin headed scarecrow as you enter the fair grounds.

Friends!

Professor Snape is a good dad.

I think the scary clown is on to me… ):

Gimme that bloomin’ onion!

This was definitely the hottest pickle EVER. Burn a hole in your stomach spicy. We couldn’t finish it.

Our friend Matt is a mystical glowing badger.

Trying to get a picture of Ron Weasley lookalike. You can see his red hair and green sweatshirt!

We got that bloomin’ onion, and if it wasn’t evident by the pool of grease leftover, it was damn good!

Another sweet pumpkin.

Katie tried to volunteer me for the magic trick, so he took her instead. Sucker! If only he would’ve ripped his shirt off to show the queen of diamonds on his chest…

Magic Loop Swirled Fingerless Mitts

After making a pair of fingerless mitts for myself and getting lots of compliments, the ladies at work convinced me to write up a pattern. This is my first self-published pattern and I’m excited to announce that they are available for sale at Cloverhill Yarn Shop. I’m working on making it available for download on Ravelry, but I’ve already sold three at the store. Yay!

Sadly my pair was lost (or stolen because I looked EVERYWHERE) at my band’s last show, but they were fabulous and I wore them every day. I’ll be knitting up a new pair soon. (:
